Insightful ~ Featuring Julian
Julian is another adorablel resident of the EFBC and if you're wondering what kind of cat he is, he's a Margay. Margays are very similar to ocelots but a little smaller, they have smaller heads but really big expressive eyes. Even though the species has made a comeback through conservation efforts they're still endangered due to habitat loss and a market for their fur. At a mere 10 pounds, the coat of one margay doesn't go very far so if you ever see someone wearing what they confirm to be a Margay coat, consider how many of these expressive animals went into it and feel free to throw some red paint.
