Billy 2
This is the second in my Billy series and another great reference photo by Alannah Hawker. The 'emerging out of the darkness' theme is one that reoccurs in my work quite often. One of the great things about scratchboard is that you can create very dramatic lighting with a black background. The original artwork belongs to my number one collector - he owns 4 of my paintings so Billy 2 has a great home.

My recommendations for the best quality print are the Premium Archival matte or the Hahemuehle Photo Rag 308. I don't recommend canvas for my artwork as it tends to lose some of the minute detail that the technique scratchboard allows me to create and the colors aren't as vivid.
