Mesmerize ~ Featuring Willow
Hold on! The picture is supposed to be sideways, no it's not rotated by accident. If you're a cat lover like me, then you've had a moment with a beautiful feline where you're watching them sleep and then they open their eyes. I've always felt like so many things were said in that moment when our eyes met and it's comforted me. This is not a domestic cat but a bobcat named Willow, (who's also featured in Captivity 3) and she's in an animal sanctuary in Rosamond, CA. I had a moment with her one day and was amazed how something so beautiful and wild could be so similar to my docile sweet cats. What does her waking gaze say to you?
8" x 10"
Scratchboard and Ink

My recommendations for the best quality print are the Premium Archival matte or the Hahemuehle Photo Rag 308. I don't recommend canvas for my artwork as it tends to lose some of the minute detail that the technique scratchboard allows me to create and the colors aren't as vivid.
